The TEROCO RP200 Profile represents a major development in the installation and facade integration of VELFAC System 200 alu-wood windows and doors.
Developed exclusively by TEROCO, this purpose-designed extruded aluminium profile addresses one of the most challenging aspects of contemporary window installation: achieving a consistently clean junction between the window frame and the surrounding render, brickwork or cladding, without compromising the construction programme.
By creating a precisely formed perimeter around the VELFAC System 200 frame, RP200 provides a dependable termination point for external finishes while maintaining the crisp, consistent shadow gap demanded by modern architecture.
Traditionally, VELFAC System 200 and facade interfaces would require careful coordination between several trades. Variations in finished openings, delays to external finishes and inconsistent sealing details can affect both the construction programme and the final appearance. RP200 changes that process.
The profile allows VELFAC System 200 windows to be installed and the building envelope secured before the surrounding facade finishes are completed. Render, brickwork and cladding can then be brought neatly to the purpose-designed profile at the appropriate stage of construction.
For Main Contractors, this provides greater flexibility when sequencing trades, reduces dependency between work packages and helps accelerate the route to a weather-tight building.

The narrow sightlines and bi-modular construction of VELFAC System 200 make it a popular choice for contemporary architectural projects. RP200 has been developed to complement these qualities rather than obscure them.
The profile creates a controlled and consistently proportioned shadow gap around the window perimeter. This produces a sharper and more refined transition between the glazing system and the building facade, helping maintain the architect’s original design intent across the entire project.
Instead of relying on variable site-applied sealant joints to define the finished appearance, RP200 provides a precise, engineered detail that can be repeated from one opening to the next.
Manufactured from extruded aluminium, the RP200 Profile incorporates two integrated gaskets that seal directly against the VELFAC System 200 frame. The primary connection between the window and profile therefore does not rely on an exposed mastic joint.
The corners are mitred, sealed and mechanically joined using aluminium cleats. An integrated powder-coated aluminium cill can also be included where required, creating a coordinated and watertight perimeter detail around all four sides of the window.
RP200 can be powder-coated in a wide selection of RAL colours to match or complement the external finish of the VELFAC glazing system.
For architects, RP200 provides a buildable and repeatable method of achieving the clean recessed window details associated with contemporary design.
